I have spent the majority of my life in Elberta and am very happy to be a part of the community that I love so much! I attended Elberta Middle School, Foley High School, Colorado College, Auburn University and the University of West Florida. I earned a B.A. degree in Communication Arts and a M.Ed. in Middle Level Language Arts Curriculum and Instruction. This is my sixth year teaching at Elberta Middle School. In my spare time I enjoy kayaking, reading, and spending time in nature with my family. I have three charismatic children, Chason is 10 (and prefers fishing to school), Grayson is 2 and Tennyson is 1. I care about every student I have the privilege of teaching, and want to help each student find ways to feel proud academically.
